OLD BLOOD (Graceborn #1)

The Old has returned…and what once was, will be again.

The Hallowed Land, they called it. A paradise the likes of which no longer exists in the world, where none went hungry, crime was but a story, and wolves walked beside men as brothers. But when the Shadow fell across the world the great forests turned to dust, the mighty rivers ran dry, and it is said the very air became poison. None have dared to wander there in over two thousand years.

Until now. Asa O’Dair and his adoptive brother Kael venture into the Tainted Land to meet a challenge from someone they once called friend, and when Asa spills sacred blood on its once-sacred soil, he sets in motion a series of events that have been millennia in the making—a series of events foretold in a secret prophecy.

As an evil long-thought vanquished stirs in the ashes of Corraidhin, Asa and Kael journey to the ancient city-state of Asphodel, the home of the Graceborn, who can wield the world’s latent power to formidable effect. It is there that they learn the roles they must play in the coming storm, and of the treacherous path that destiny has set before them both.

For the Shadow and its allies have had two thousand years to plan their bloody revenge…and now their time has come.

Thank you for your kind words! Unfortunately this one is quite a way off yet, but in the meantime I’d recommend checking out The Licanius Trilogy by James Islington, if you haven’t come across it already. Happy reading 🙂

Thank you so much! I am super excited to have finished the draft, and it’s pure torture to stay away from the manuscript until I’m set to start editing!
