Rebecca Alasdair was born in 1994 in Melbourne, Australia and began writing stories from the moment she learned to hold a pencil. She completed her first novel-length piece at age sixteen—a whopping YA fantasy fiction of 240k words.
Having recently finished a double degree in Science and Environmental Engineering at university, Rebecca currently spends her days making the most of her freedom before she starts her first full-time job in early 2020.
This means working on her WIPs Holding Up the Sky (contemporary YA) and Graceborn (fantasy), reading until the dawn light peeks through the curtains, and indulging her obsessive tendencies by organising and reorganising her rock collection.
