ABOUT

Rebecca Alasdair lives in Melbourne, Australia and has been writing from the moment she learned to hold a pencil. She completed her first novel-length piece at age sixteen: an enormous YA fantasy epic of 240k words…and that was only book one.

Now a public sector worker by day, teller of stories by night, Rebecca loves dogs, coffee, and researching everything under the sun. When she’s not carving out time for her authorly pursuits, she can be found reading until the dawn light peeks through the curtains, reorganising her rainbow-coloured bookshelves, or tending to her many, many plant children.

Her first book, Holding Up the Sky, is out now from Southscript Press.
