Where has the time gone?! This debut novel of mine was a bit of an experiment, to be honest, but I'm immensely proud of what it has achieved and how it grew my confidence as an author. There are a few minor things I need to go back and fix, but first, I'll be taking 2 weeks off to rest and celebrate!! One new 5⭐️ review on Goodreads and one DM from a reader telling me how much the book meant to them put a smile on my dial for DAYS. N is for Narod! 👇 It's been a while since my l N is for Narod! 👇 It's been a while since my last post following the A to Z of worldbuilding elements in the #GracebornSeries, so today I wanted to talk about one of the more interesting places. Nestled against the Draegonspine, Narod was the capital of Stargard, a powerhouse nation of the Age of Discord who was a neighbour and close ally of Corraidhin, the Hallowed Land. After the Fall of Corraidhin, Stargard started to decline. The final nail in the coffin was when the Stormbringers, a group of renegade Graceborn, destroyed Narod in a violent firestorm that thereafter became known as the Razing of Narod. Civil war then ripped Stargard apart, and it splintered into the nations of Maribor and Tarnow. Anything lifechanging happened to you recently? M Anything lifechanging happened to you recently? My life has certainly had a bit of a shakeup in recent times with a certain furry arrival. I haven't got as much else done as I'd planned, but that's part of it, I guess.
