My top five reads of 2024
We’re almost done with 2024, which means it’s time to share the best books I read this year! I managed to exceed my reading goal of 20 books and had quite a few 5-star reads in there, which is exciting. My reading year
We’re almost done with 2024, and you know what that means! It’s time to announce the best books I read this year and take a look at how I went with reading as a whole. As you can see from the graph below, I started out strong with my reading habits before falling into a bit of a hole in the second half of the year. 😅 Nevertheless, I still managed to achieve my reading goal!!
In the end, I got through 22 books in 2024 which, funnily enough, is the same number I read last year! I had quite a few 5-star reads, so it was a bit of a challenge to decide #3 to #5 on my list of top reads after the first two stand-outs! Here is what I came up with…

I also tend to have a stronger start of year and then lose pace as the year heads towards the ending, so you’re not alone in this. 2024 ended up being a year of re-reads for me – partially because I really wanted to return to some stories I loved reading years ago, and partially because I found myself indecisive of what to read next, so the re-reads felt like a decent solution.
