Launching my new author newsletter

My brand new author newsletter is NOW LIVE! Setting up a newsletter is something I promised both myself and readers that I would do in 2022, and in today’s blog post I share what my new subscribers will receive and how you can sign up. Come and check it out!!

My newsletter is now live!

I am very excited to announce that my brand new author newsletter is NOW LIVE! If you’ve been following along over the last few months, you’re probably aware that I promised to start a newsletter in 2022. Building a mailing list is an excellent way to connect with readers—and fellow writers—especially as I work towards publication of my first novel later in the year.

Subscribers to my newsletter will receive:

  • monthly updates on my writing progress, publishing plans, books I’m reading, and anything else that might be of interest
  • exclusive insights, sneak peeks, and excerpts from my current projects, and perhaps even the occasional giveaway
  • early access to opportunities to get involved in cover reveals, street teams, Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs), and more
  • other benefits not on this list, but which may arise with the newsletter’s evolution or in response to feedback

If any of the above interests you, keep reading for details on how you can sign up today!

How you can subscribe

If you’d like to become part of my mailing list and receive the content described above, there are a couple of ways you can subscribe. For each of these methods, you will need to provide your first name and email address, which will be managed in accordance with my Privacy Policy.

You might have noticed the new subscription pop-up (see image below) when you entered my website to view this blog post. This is the first way you can sign up to my newsletter.

If you missed the pop-up, not to worry! You can also scroll down to the bottom of this post and use the embedded subscription form in the website footer.

I also have an independent subscription landing page, which you can check out by clicking on the link below. This is what will be provided in my linktr.ee on social media.

Once you’ve subscribed, you will receive a welcome email and some information about your first free gift. If you’re having trouble finding the email, make sure you check your junk mail and/or promotions box—and don’t forget to whitelist my email address!

I’d love to hear what you think of the newsletter and how you found the subscription process, so feel free to comment below or get in touch privately. Happy viewing! 😊

What do you think of my author newsletter? How did you find the subscription process? Do you have a newsletter or mailing list of your own?

I'm an Australian indie author who hoards books, loves dogs and coffee, and has a tendency of staying up all night!

Good luck with your newsletter – as far as I’ve heard, it’s another hard-to-master thing that many writers try but few manage to run well. I hope you’ll be among those and will probably join yours in a couple of days.
I’ll probably give it a try myself at some point, but I’m not ready for it just yet. But I’m watching the situation and trying to remember the “do’s” and “don’ts” as I see them.

Thanks Tomas! As I’ve learned with all my online networking over the last few years: it’s all a learning process. You have to try things, and adapt if they don’t work out at first. Though it’s hard work, it’s always rewarding to make new connections with readers but also other writers. I’ll let you know how it goes, and all the best if you decide to give it a try yourself!! 😀

Rebecca!! I signed up 🙂 It was easy. I filled out the pop-up and subscribed easily. 🙂 🙂 Go Rebecca! I am intrigued and excited to read your newsletters.

And it may be a learning curve, but I believe in you. I have full confidence in you. You’ll do great! Go Rebecca! Know that I’ll support you all the way and that I’m here for you too. All the best. Take care.
